Event & Entertainment Info:

Experience millions of glowing, sparkling lights and over 150 dazzling light displays, animated sculptures & synchronized music light show at New Mexico’s largest, original, walk-through holiday production.

Every year NEW sculptures are designed and created by River of Lights artists and craftsman. This year on the lawn, experience a voyage beneath the sea where you’ll encounter an array of colorful, big-as-life 3-D creatures including: a humpback whale, octopus, stingray, sea turtle, neon & angelfish, live coral and more wonderful surprises!

Ticket Information:

• Assistance in printing online tickets is available 9 am - 5pm at the Aquarium/Garden & Zoo business offices.  Business offices are not open during River of Lights & there is no will call.
• Q cards may be used to purchase tickets from ABQ BioPark cashiers in advance or at the door. Q cards are not valid for online or group tickets.
• River of Lights is a special fundraising event. There are no ticket discounts for senior citizens or NM BioPark Society members.

History:

River of Lights began in 1997 as a fund raising project sponsored by the New Mexico BioPark Society. Event proceeds benefit the ABQ BioPark your Zoo, Aquarium, Botanic Garden and Tingley Beach.
